About the Presenter

Dana Rowangould
Research Assistant Professor
University of Vermont
Dana Rowangould is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Vermont. Dr. Rowangould’s research interests include transportation and land use policy and planning, transportation justice, energy use, active travel, air quality, safety, and health. Dana is also a founding principal of Sustainable Systems Research, an independent consulting firm that conducts research on the health, environmental, and equity impacts of transportation systems in partnership with community-based organizations. Dana holds a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering, an M.S. in Agricultural and Resource Economics, and a Ph.D. in Ecology.

Sarah McCullough
C. Sequoia Erasmus holds dual Master's degrees from University of California, Davis in Community Development and Transportation Technology and Policy, with a certificate in Landscape Architecture and Environmental Design. While studying at UC Davis, Sequoia was honored to work with Dr. McCullough as a Graduate Student Researcher focused on transportation equity and mobility justice with the Feminist Research Institute. Her broader work focuses on equity, justice, and community-derived solutions for improving sustainability and access in transportation and emerging mobilities. Currently, Sequoia is proud to serve the State of California as a transportation planning and policy professional focused on transportation equity and engagement. In her free time she enjoys biking slowly and skating with her roller skate collective.
C. Sequoia Erasmus
Do Jun Lee is an Assistant Professor and Graduate Advisor at the Department of Urban Studies. His research interests critically examine the interrelationships of people, mobility, environment, and social justice. Do's dissertation research in Environmental Psychology (PhD, The Graduate Center CUNY, 2018) focused on a participatory action research project with immigrant food delivery cyclists in NYC to examine the mobility and working experiences in the NYC streets from the food delivery perspective.
