Jesus Barajas

Jesus M. Barajas is an assistant professor of Environmental Science and Policy and affiliated faculty at the Institute of Transportation Studies at the University of California, Davis. His research at the intersection of transportation planning and environmental justice addresses how systems of inequities influence travel behavior and how policymakers can and should respond. He has led projects on topics including travel behavior, transportation safety, and the implications of policing on transportation planning. He serves on the UC ITS Transportation Equity Committee. He holds a PhD in City and Regional Planning from the University of California, Berkeley.
Oboi Reed
Olatunji Oboi Reed is President & CEO, The Equiticity Racial Equity Movement. As a racial equity technician, he works globally with other organizations to bring racial justice and increase mobility around the world.
Audrey Wennink
Audrey Wennink directs MPC’s transportation efforts and coordinates transportation initiatives with other facets of planning including affordable housing, land use, equity, and the environment. She leads transportation research and advocacy efforts including pursuing
sustainable funding for transportation in Illinois, integration of performance-based planning methods into transportation practice, and developing efforts to boost transportation equity. Under her leadership, MPC developed the Toward Universal Mobility report defining needed improvements to the region’s transportation system to benefit people with disabilities and seniors. She leads the MPC Transportation Advisory Committee, comprised of regional business and public policy leaders.
