Dana Rowangould is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Vermont. Dr. Rowangould’s research interests include transportation and land use policy and planning, transportation justice, energy use, active travel, air quality, safety, and health. Dana is also a founding principal of Sustainable Systems Research, an independent consulting firm that conducts research on the health, environmental, and equity impacts of transportation systems in partnership with community-based organizations. Dana holds a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering, an M.S. in Agricultural and Resource Economics, and a Ph.D. in Ecology.
